Another fest has come and gone.

What a great fest we had this year! Piper Laurie, Charlotte Stewart, Kimmy Robertson, Paula K. Shimatsu-U., John Neff, and Nightsage were all in attendance and helped make the fest special for all the attendees. Also a big thanks to the attendees, without your enthusiasm and ticket purchases, the fest couldn't happen! Stay tuned for a more thorough review of this year's fest. In the mean time, check out the Festival Discussion section of our message board.

We're in Twin Peaks!

Just a quick Hi and a heads up that Amanda and I are here in North Bend, Washington! We're just trying to get the finishing touches on everything and look forward to see the over 100 attendees schedules to show up this year. See you soon!

Not attending? Keep an eye on the message board, people will be posting photos and such there. We'll also try to get our full fest review up as soon as possible. Thanks again to all those attending this year, your ticket purchases make this fest possible.

TWO celebrities added to 2008 roster

First up, Kimmy Robertson has accepted our invitation to the festival and is pleased to be returning after several years' absence. Kimmy is known to Twin Peaks fans as the lovable and feisty Lucy Moran. She's also a talented voice artist who has worked on such projects as Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Simpsons, and Pepper Ann. For those who've followed her in films, she's well-known for her roles in Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and Speed 2: Cruise Control. This will be Kimmy's eight festival visit. Visit Kimmy's IMDb profile to check out her complete list of roles and other deets.

We also have a first-time festival guest joining us... Piper Laurie has also accepted our invitation! Piper is known to Twin Peaks fans as clever, deceptive Catherine Martell, archnemesis of Josie Packard and double-crosser of Ben Horne. Aside from Twin Peaks, I'm sure many of you remember her from such classic films as Carrie, The Hustler, and Children of a Lesser God. Piper has just (and we mean JUST) finished filming a role in the upcoming film Another Harvest Moon with Ernest Borgnine and Doris Roberts. Visit Piper's IMDb profile to check out her complete list of roles and other deets.

Don S. Davis Passed Away

It is with great sorrow that we must report that actor Don S. Davis passed away yesterday morning from a massive heart attack. He was a wonderful person with a passion for his work, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with the fans at each Twin Peaks Festival he attended. He was excited about returning this year, which makes the news all the harder to swallow. We will miss him very much.

For any fans who wish to honor Don’s memory, his wife Ruby has asked that in lieu of flowers, we make donations in Don’s name to the American Heart Association.

Exciting movie night change

I say it's exciting, but unfortunately, it's also a bit of a mystery. We must honor the producers' wishes and NOT announce the title of this year's very special film presentation. What we can say is that it's going to be great, and that it's a new 2008 feature film in the Lynch tradition. Read more in the forum.

Sweet music in the woods

The good news just keeps rolling in! John Neff and Nightsage will be joining us once again for our Saturday night festivities. For those that might not recognize his name, John is best described as a guitarist/bassist, audio/film mix producer, and sound engineer. Not to mention, he's the other half of Blue Bob. They'll be performing some great, ethereal, bluesy, sexy, whimsical music including pieces from their recent LeeriX project plus soudntrack material from Lynch works.

Picture yourself in Twin Peaks contest

Because of the huge popularity of our t-shirt contest, we decided to run another contest before the festival rolls around. We thought maybe you could try your hand at some photography this time. Get all dressed up in character and mimic a shot from the show or make up your own scene. We'll also be accepting general environmental shots if they're inspired by Twin Peaks. The end product will be a 16-month calendar. The 16 winners to the contest will get a free copy of the calendar. Get moving and enter the Picture yourself in Twin Peaks contest today, the contest runs for just under 2 months.

James Marshall and more

We've got a one-two punch today. James Marshall, everyone's favorite biker James Hurley, has confirmed that he'll be in attendance this year. Along with James, we also have confirmation from Paula K. Shimatsu-u. Being the unit publicist and assistant to Mark Frost, Paula was responsible for a lot of behind the scenes stuff on the show. Both James and Paula have some great stories to share.

T-Shirt Contest Winner Announced

Congratulations to A.J. Myers of Yakima, WA for his winning entry! Also, congratulations to Lindsey Hanson of San Francisco, CA whose entry was chosen as our new mug design! Both designs will be revealed at the 2008 Twin Peaks Festival and available for purchase online starting August 1st.

While you're waiting for the fest to roll around, you can't also get your fill of Charlotte merchandise at her Liquid Butterfly site.

Actor Don S. Davis confirmed

Great news, we just got word from Don that he'll be able to attend the fest! Other than appearing in various tv shows and movies over the years, you'll recognize him best as Major Briggs. He's also an accomplished painter, illustrator, carver, and stage designer.
